Graduating Esports Student-Athletes Fall 2019

We’re proud to announce our Graduating Comets Esports Student-Athletes for the Fall 2019 Semester: Alan Arce and Efrain Nazario.

Efrain Nazario

๐ŸŽ“ Efrain โ€œKazeโ€ Nazario graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelors in Arts and Technology from the School of Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication. Efrain played as a student-athlete on our Smash Ultimate Team, maining Incineroar. ๐ŸŽฎ He will be leaving UT Dallas with the first-ever Comets Athletics national championship title (CSL Smash Ultimate Champions 2019) under his belt and the many memories he has made over the years. ๐Ÿ†

Efrain is from Ponce, Puerto Rico and his hobbies include watching movies, and playing role-playing/fighting games. ๐Ÿ“ His favorite video games from his childhood are Megaman Legends & The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker! โš”๏ธ His favorite memory while being at UTD was meeting all of his close friends. ๐Ÿ’ซ Efrain plans to do freelance illustrations and looking to land at a animation/game studio in the near future! ๐Ÿ“ฝ

Alan Arce

๐ŸŽ“ Alan Anthony โ€œToxicโ€ Arce graduated from @UT_Dallas with a Bachelors of Science in Finance from the Naveen Jindal School of Management. Alan played as a student-athlete on our Overwatch A Team for two years, and served as the team captain his second year. ๐Ÿ—ฃ๐ŸŽ–

Alan is from Dallas, Texas and his hobbies include playing Overwatch, cooking, and painting. ๐Ÿ“๐ŸŽจ His favorite memory at UTD was our team winning 2nd place at the Inaugural Battle for Texas Tournament hosted in Arlington! ๐Ÿ† Alan plans to work as a financial analyst in corporate America! ๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿ’ต
