The UT Dallas Esports Team & Program is recruiting a passionate team of full-time students to help lead the program for the upcoming 2020-2021 year. Please review below the job descriptions below for each position before applying! We are currently looking for: (3) STUDENT HEAD COACHES & (1) STUDENT SOCIAL CONTENT COORDINATOR.

– Possible travel on away esports team trips.
– Esports team uniform & customized jersey.
– Professional intern and full-time opportunities in the gaming/esports industries after this program.

*Each student-staff position is paid through The University of Texas at Dallas.

The UT Dallas Esports Team & Program is sending out this interest form for current full-time students at The University of Texas at Dallas to fill out to show their “interest” in trying out for our program for the fall semester. We currently have our TRYOUT INTEREST FORM active.

For those interested in trying out for one of our teams for next semester/next year, here is the full information:

1. We will only be having tryouts AT THE START OF THE FALL SEMESTER and we will be filling as necessary in the Spring (meaning we will no longer be holding tryouts in the Spring Semester).
2. No tryout dates will be announced until it has been decided whether or not UTD will be on campus or online for the Fall.
3. All tryouts will still be online (meaning you’ll need to have a good internet connection and computer for this).
4. If you are graduating at the conclusion of the Fall semester, you are not allowed to tryout for the team. You MUST be a Full-Time Student for the entirety of the upcoming Fall and Spring semesters in order to tryout.

Here are the requirements per game and this includes anyone already on a team:

Overwatch (PC Only) – Masters +
League of Legends (PC Only) – Diamond 3 +
Rocket League (PC Only) – GC+
Smash Ultimate (Switch) – Significantly Strong Local Results

We are always pushing to make our teams competitively as strong as they can be and these changes overall will help facilitate that.
